Job vacancy: Project Archivist: Archives of Great Expectations …

The Archives of Great Expectations project will also include working with local schools and colleges to explore the learning potential embedded within the collection.

The Project Archivist will work to the supervision of the Medway Archivist, and in partnership with the Friends of Medway Archives.

The successful applicant will hold a Post Graduate diploma/MA in Archive Administration and will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of local authority records; will be able to travel within the Medway area; will be used working alone, as well as part of a team, and will be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills.

The awards recognise this year’s “best of the best” strategies, achievements, teams and individuals in councils, central government, NHS, education & other organizations – and were presented on 20th January at a black tie dinner in the City of London Guildhall.
